A new season. A new chapter. Same Durham.
We kick-off our 2026/27 season on Sunday, September 6 (12pm kick-off) against Southampton – and we’ve got a big day planned!
It’s been a busy summer for the Blues with a new head coach in Willie Kirk, joined by a host of new signings and returning faces!
And to mark the opening game against the Saints at Maiden Castle, we’ve got a whole host of activities planned as we look to kick-off the season in style!
Here’s what we’ve got planned for the fixture with Southampton:
- Our annual Sister Club Parade with junior teams from across the region taking to the pitch at half-time – find out more about how your team can get involved in our FREE Sister Club Network HERE
- Our Pathway teams will act as mascots and flag bearers ahead of kick-off as we introduce the next generation of Durham Women players!
- Free giveaways courtesy of our partners, Swizzels and iPro – make sure you bag yourself a treat ahead of the game!
- The first competitive Durham home game where you can drink alcohol in the stadium bowl – find out more about that exciting development HERE
- If U Care Share will be on-site meeting with fans as we go ‘Inside Out’ for our first game of the season
- More free giveaways from Durham Women’s Official Supporters Club for fans attending their first game
- The chance to meet our players post-match for autographs and selifes in front of the Main Stand
- Food and drink served throughout the day by Fat Frank’s Street Food
- The chance to get our 2026/27 home shirt, which will be on-sale ahead of the game in our Club Shop

- Students – £8
- Child (16 & under) – £6
