Durham Women FC can confirm the departure of five players ahead of the 2026/27 Barclays Women’s Super League 2 season.
Midfielder Tyler Toland departs having joined the club from Blackburn Rovers last summer. The Republic of Ireland international made 23 appearances for the Blues and scored a memorable long-range goal away at Ipswich Town.
New Zealand forward Hannah Blake will move on after two years at Maiden Castle. Blake scored five times in 41 appearances across the last two seasons, including crucial strikes against London City Lionesses and Bristol City.
Abbi Grant will also depart this summer after a two-year spell in the North East. The Scotland international made four appearances which included an assist in our 6-0 win over Portsmouth during the 2024/25 campaign.
After arriving at the club last summer, Leyla McFarland will seek a new challenge ahead of the new season. The Northern Irish international featured 20 times for Durham last term, scoring in the River Wear Derby against Sunderland at Maiden Castle.
Abbey Jones will also move on ahead of the 2026/27 season. The attack-minded midfielder joined Durham after a spell with the University of Connecticut and played 14 times last season.
As previously announced, Sarah Robson has made the decision to step back from full-time football.
