Durham Women can confirm that Mollie Lambert will be departing the club to pursue an opportunity elsewhere.
The midfielder joined the club in 2020 from Sunderland and has gone on to make 157 appearances for Durham, scoring 23 times.
During her time with the club, Lambert helped the Blues to a number of memorable moments – while also being crowned North East Football Writers’ Player of the Year in 2024.
She also won the Barclays WSL2 Goal of the Season in 2022 after a strike in the away win at Sunderland.
Everyone at the club thanks Mollie for her service and contributions while with Durham, and wishes her well for the future. She will always be welcome back at Maiden Castle.
