We caught up with Mollie Lambert to preview Sunday’s game against Sheffield United in the Barclays Women’s Super League 2

Lambert on our Liverpool clash…

“It was a physical battle against Liverpool, a mentally tough game against a very goos side, but there were plenty of positives that we took away from the game.

“The mood in the camp is positive and we are all raring to go again.

“We’ve had few days off to reset but now we are ready to refocus on our goals.”

Lambert on the season so far…

“It’s been a tough start, but again we have had a lot of positives to take away from each game, despite the results.

“Each game we reflect and try and change the things we may have struggled with, but as a team we come together on the training pitch and work hard.

“We need to make sure that come the weekend we get the three points.”

Lambert on Sheffield…

“After playing them a few times, we know Sheffield’s strengths.

“This weekend is all about how well we execute our game plan and finish our chances.

“We have been working really hard and we hope that Sunday’s performance shows it.”

Lambert on the Blue Army…

“We can’t wait to see and hear them on Sunday.

“Make sure you’re extra loud and push us to the final whistle as you always do week in, week out.”
