Durham Women are delighted to announce that Becky Salicki has signed a new contract to extend her stay with the club.

The defender joined the club in 2016 and has since gone on to make 205 appearances for the Blues – making her the club’s third-highest all-time appearance maker.

During that time, Salicki has made crucial impacts at both ends of the field, scoring an impressive 16 goals from centre back while also playing her part in some fine rearguard displays in some of our most memorable triumphs.

And now she has put pen to paper on terms which will take her into an eleventh season with Durham.

“It feels really good, this is my home and I love it here,” said Salicki after agreeing the new deal.

“It’s always been the same here – the attitude we have here of never say never and never giving up is a big part of me.

“The fans are huge. What an unbelievable amount of fans we get home and away and it’s ever-growing.

“At the last game of the season I spoke to quite a few people who were new and had never been before and they were so excited for the new season to come back, so that’s a really good part as well.”
