Following today’s confirmation of the government’s tiering system, Durham Women FC can confirm that our fixtures will remain behind closed doors until further notice.
County Durham has been placed into Tier 3, which means no spectators are able to watch outdoor sporting events.
This means our upcoming home fixtures will continue to be played behind closed doors.
However, we will continue to provide live streams for all our home fixtures to ensure supporters can continue to follow our progress through this crucial month.
Full details of the streams for the games against Blackburn Rovers and Liverpool will be communicated in due course.
We would also kindly remind supporters not to travel to Maiden Castle on match days, and to follow all the relevant government advice.
